Nagaon: The results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination at Sutar Gaon Public High School, under the Batadrava education block in Nagaon district, have been extremely poor this year.
Out of a total of 43 students who appeared in the examination, only 2 students pass, while 41 students were failed (HSLC Result Protest) .
Following this disappointing result, angry parents and local residents gathered at the school on Monday, creating a tense situation.
According to the public opinion Teachers of this school do not arrive on time. Instead of teaching in classrooms, they spend time outside . There is no academic environment in the school at all. This is why the result is so poor today.
Parents alleged that despite having 18 teachers, the quality of education in the school is extremely poor.
They also stated that the headmaster failed to take any action, which led to this situation.
Parent and local resident warned to the Headmaster and the associate Teacher If you cannot run the school properly, then resign from your post. All the teachers should take transferred themselves immediately.
Local residents have also demanded that the District Commissioner of Nagaon visit the school, conduct an inquiry, and take necessary action at the earliest.
