Nagaon: Rongali Bihu was celebrated at Christjyoti School in Nagaon. District Commissioner Devashish Sharma joined nearly one thousand students in performing Bihu dance at the English-medium school, creating a lively and festive atmosphere on the campus (Devashish Sharma Bihu Dance).

With great enthusiasm for Rongali Bihu spreading across the state, preparations to welcome Bohag are in full swing everywhere. On the eve of the festival, a pre-Rongali Bihu celebration was organized at Christjyoti High School, one of the leading English-medium schools in Nagaon. The event was held on Monday on the school premises.

A vibrant and cheerful environment prevailed at Christjyoti High School during the grand pre-Rongali Bihu celebration. Nearly one thousand students of the school performed Bihu songs and dances. The performances by students, teachers, and staff filled the campus with festive spirit. The event, attended by students and parents, drew the attention of people across Nagaon.

The presence of Nagaon District Commissioner Devashish Sharma made the celebration even more special. He also joined the students in performing Bihu dance during the event.

Along with singing Bihu songs, the District Commissioner actively participated in the dance, delighting everyone present with his energetic performance.

Students impressed teachers and parents with performances of Huchori and Mukoli Bihu. Teachers also joined the students in the dance, adding more excitement and liveliness to the celebration.

Apart from the District Commissioner, local artist Nayanjyoti Saikia, also known as Nayan Axom Koliaboriya, attended the pre-Rongali Bihu celebration at Christjyoti High School as a guest.
