Nagaon: Once again targeting the Opposition Congress, BJP MLA from Samaguri constituency and Assam Pradesh BJP general secretary Diplu Ranjan Sharma launched a scathing attack, stating that arrogance is embedded in the DNA of the Congress party (Diplu Ranjan Sharma Congress Attack). He described Rahul, Priyanka, Gaurav, Rocky, and Tanjil as “princes and princesses.”
Taking aim at the Congress once more, MLA Diplu Ranjan Sharma sharply criticised leaders ranging from Rahul Gandhi to Rokibul Hussain and even Tanjil Hussain. On Monday, while felicitating hockey players in his constituency Samaguri, Sharma spoke to the media and came down heavily on the Opposition Congress.
Criticising the Congress, Sharma said,
“An arrogant character exists in the DNA of the Congress. The Congress practices dynastic politics. They now behave like kings. Rahul Gandhi did not even accept the Assamese gamosa. The Congress only knows how to take, not how to give. There are only princes and princesses in the Congress. Just as Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are princes and princesses, similarly in Assam, Gaurav Gogoi, Tanjil Hussain, and even Rokibul Hussain are princes. Their ego is very high.”
Alleging that the Congress does not know how to respect others, Sharma further remarked,
“Gaurav Gogoi has repeatedly insulted Akhil Gogoi and Lurinjyoti Gogoi. It pains me to see such humiliation.”
Stating that Congress leaders possess the traits of arrogant monarchs, Sharma added,
“The character of oppressive feudal-era kings can be seen in Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Gaurav Gogoi.”
Commenting on the issue of causing distress to a particular community, Sharma said,
“A narrative is being created. The Prime Minister has adopted the policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’ However, it is only illegal infiltrators who are being spoken of as facing hardship. Giving trouble to illegal infiltrators is the responsibility and noble duty of every Assamese citizen.”
