RAHA: During the campaign for the Assam Assembly elections, senior Delhi BJP leader K. S. Duggal on Thursday visited the Central Gurudwara Sahib located at Barkula under the Raha assembly constituency.
Duggal paid his respects at the Gurudwara and offered prayers for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in Assam.
On the occasion, Gurmukh Singh , President of the Gurudwara committee and respected members of the Sangat were also present.
The senior BJP leader appealed to the Sikh community to unite and support the formation of a BJP government in Assam under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Interacting with media , he said that the country is continuously progressing under the safe leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and that the policies of the central government are guiding India on the path of a new development.
